Denali Orthopedic Surgery sees patients by appointment. Our goal is to see you as soon as possible; therefore we ask that you please make your appointment as far in advance as possible. If you are a new patient to our office, or need time to change and/or update your information on file with us, plan to arrive thirty (30) minutes early to your appointment. The appointment scheduler will advise you of the proper check in time; or, if you prefer, you can print off and fill out a Patient Information Form and Health History Questionnaire before you arrive. You will need to bring all pertinent medical records, recent x-rays and billing information including insurance cards with you to your office visit. It is especially important to have your insurance information with you if you want us to bill your insurance company. Without this data, you will need to pay in full. A parent or guardian must accompany a minor patient.

Please be advised, our office is not an authorized Tricare/Champus provider and we do not accept this type of insurance. We will only accept VA as a form of payment if the visit is for emergent treatment follow up.

We strive to treat our patients without prolonged waiting times. However, the practice of orthopedic surgery is frequented by emergency calls - often during office hours. This can result in the physician being called to the emergency room. We try not to delay your appointment, but sometimes it cannot be avoided. Your patience and understanding when these emergencies occur is appreciated.

Our doctors like to be able to focus on the patient and the patient's need for treatment. Therefore, we request that only the patient and the family members that are necessary for treatment, be allowed in the examination rooms. If you need someone to transport you here for your appointment, they can either remain in our waiting room or come back to pick you up after your appointment is completed. Our office staff can give an estimate of how long you will be. Please be advised that childcare is not available in our office.
